Perl 6
When will Perl 6 be released?

Here's a historical timeline of the momentum of perl 6 development, as seen from the year 2005.

Perl_6_timeline.png

Perl 6, the language, has seen its first stable release with version 6.c (after 6.Advent and 6.Birthday, this is 6.Christmas) on christmas 2015.

The ideal place to find out about current goings-on is probably following the headlines of the pl6anet over at http://pl6anet.org and checking out http://perl6.org/ regularly.

Also, you can sign up to the perl6-compiler, perl6-users, and/or perl6-language mailing lists, which are at the time of writing very low traffic, by sending mail to perl6-*-subscribe@perl.org
