Perl 6
Oslo Perl 6 Hackaton 2009: Revision 10

This year, Oslo.pm will be hosting the Nordic Perl Workshop on April 16-17th 2009. One of the topics we'd like to focus on is Perl 6, Rakudo, Parrot and related projects. To make the event a little more interesting, we'd like to invite you to:

Oslo Perl 6 Hackathon 2009
Saturday 18th and Sunday 20th of April
at Redpill-Linpro's training facilities in Oslo.

We had a very successful Hackathon there for the Perl-QA people last April, and would like to offer the same opportunity to you guys this time. We are also investigating the possibility of running an Enlightened Perl hackathon at the same time, if enough people are interested.

At the moment we have very few plans for the event, other than the date and location. If you think this is interesting, please tell us! We'll update this wiki page when we have more news.

We are trying to get sponsors to pay travel and lodging expenses for several speakers at the Workshop and Hackathon participants. If you want to give a talk, please read the NPW Call for Papers and follow the instructions. If you would like to be sponsored, feel free to contact us directly about it, although we can't promise anything before we have all the sponsors signed up, and giving a talk probably increases your chances substantially!

Participants: (if you are planning to attend the hackathon please add your name here)

  • Gabor Szabo
  • Carl Mäsak
  • Cosimo Streppone
  • Jonathan Worthington
