You can include the contents of one page in another page. This feature can be very useful:
- When you are building a document that multiple people are working on, you can assemble the document out of their individual parts.
- If you would like to build a "dashboard" showing the status of multiple pages.
You cannot include a page in itself, or include a page that includes its parent.
Include a page from this workspace
To include the page titled "Table of Contents" from the current workspace:
{include [Table of Contents]}
Include a page from another workspace
To include the page titled "Socialtext Customer Exchange" from the workspace "exchange":
{include exchange [Socialtext Customer Exchange]}
Include inside a dashboard table
To build a dashboard, you can also put the includes inside of a table, along with other content.

The included page below explains linking. Back to Socialtext Documentation. Many different kinds of links can be made in Advanced mode as well as with WikiWidgets in Simple mode. Page link. While editing, link to another given page, say the page titled "There", simply by selecting it and clicking on Dashed links. Links to pages that exist will have a solid underline. However, links to pages that do not already exist will have an dashed underline. Just click on the link and write the new page! This makes it easy to create new pages. Link text. Sometimes you don't want the text of the link to be the same as the name of the page. You can specify the link text by writing "link text" [Page Name]. For instance, "how to link" [Linking] : how to link. Note: links with modified link text can only be changed from the Advanced editing mode. Links to other workspaces. You can link to a page in another workspace simply by writing {link: different-workspace [Page]}. For instance, to link to the Tutorials page in the Customer Exchange, writeYou can also do this in Simple mode with WikiWidgets.{link: exchange [Tutorials]} Links to other workspaces can only be changed from the Advanced editing mode. Links to sections inside pages. What if you want to create a link to a particular section of a page? You can link directly to any section heading on a page by using the text of the heading: {link: Section Heading}. You can also do this in Simple mode with WikiWidgets. You can link to a heading on a different page in a different workspace by writing: {link: different-workspace [Page] Section Heading}. For instance, to link to the following heading Link here{link: [Linking] Link here} Linking (Link here) (this workspace) Naming a section on a page. You can create a name for a section by typing {section: section-name} in the page. The name won't be visible when you view the page, but you can use the name to make a link directly to that section. For instance, the section {section: Naming a section} is at the bottom of this page. You can link to it via {link: [Linking] Naming a section} and get this link: Linking (Naming a section) You can also do this in Simple mode with WikiWidgets. External links. To link to another website, just write its address; e.g. http://www.socialtext.com External link text.
